Japanese Kit Kat: Whole Wheat Cookie

Debuted in 2021, this Japanese Kit Kat is made with whole wheat biscuits specially developed to incorporate healthy grains into diets (whole wheat bread is hard to find in Japan!). The flavor is inspired by British sweet biscuits AKA digestive biscuits. 

Along being the crunchy center, the earthy biscuit is kneaded into the white chocolate casing for an extra crisp and added aroma! It’s the perfect treat for health-conscious snackers!

FUN FACT: To help reduce waste, Nestle Japan started switching from plastic to paper packaging in 2019. At the end of 2020, most of their bags became paper, reducing about 420 tons of plastic packaging since September 2019. Nestle Japan aims to go 100% recyclable or reusable by 2025!
